One Faith
One Faith emphasizes salvation as a free gift. We believe salvation is a free gift to all who accept it by faith (John 3:16).
One Hope
One Hope emphasizes the role of Jesus Christ in securing the salvation of a believer through His perfect work of atonement. Salvation is not based on human effort or good deeds, but instead our hope lies totally in the person and work of our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 5:1-2).
One Family
One Family emphasizes our belief that members of First Baptist of Opelousas are bound together with a familial bond meaning we are a family bound together by the covenant of membership made before God.
